We understand the climate changes increasingly affect the environmental sustainability as part of our social responsibility and mission to achieve "Green Business Development", we adopted ISO14064-1 at Shalu, Taichung Harbor, Lukang and Kaohsiung plants to quantify the greenhouse gas inventory.

Other Energy Sources
we also use natural gas and diesel as energy sources:
  • In 2025, the natural gas consumption across our four plants was 3,286.04 thousand cubic meters (km³).
  • Diesel fuel is primarily used for transportation vehicles and forklift equipment. The diesel fuel consumption was 407.133 kiloliters, which represents a 14.98% increase compared to 354.085 kiloliters in 2024. Primarily, due to the addition of two large trucks for logistics distribution.

Renewable energy
  • In 2025, the solar energy production reached 3,974.17 kWh, a decrease of 2.32% compared to 4,068.55 kWh in 2024, primarily due to sunlight factors.
  • The plan is to install solar panels for power generation in 2025, expected to be completed by February 2027. This will increase the capacity by 1,082.31 kW, which is a 30.79% increase compared to the current solar power generation capacity.
Equipment update
In 2025, we will continue to carry out equipment updates as follows:
  • Purchase of IE3 high-efficiency motors: 22 units.
  • Replacement of transformers: 2 units.
  • Replacement of lighting fixtures with LED energy-saving lamps: 75 sets.
  • Installation of additional solar lighting fixtures: 2 sets.
  • Purchase of electric forklifts: 8 units, replacing diesel forklifts.
  • Upgrade of 1 natural gas dryer.
  • Replacement of air conditioning units: 7 units.
