    Fire Drill and Emergency Response
To enhance the effectiveness of the internal fire brigade and the emergency response capabilities of all colleagues, the company periodically conducts internal fire training. In 2025, there were a total of 117 trainings/participations. The training description includes fire safety education, covering the mnemonic for fire extinguisher operation and operational precautions, techniques for opening fire hydrants and controlling water streams, as well as the reporting procedures and emergency evacuation process in the event of a fire alarm. In the practical section, after conducting emergency evacuation guidance, fire extinguisher and fire hydrant operation drills are carried out to familiarize employees with the use of various firefighting equipment. This ensures that they can quickly take the correct measures in case of emergencies and continuously strengthen the disaster prevention capabilities of the work environment, effectively reducing accident risks and ensuring the safety of personnel and the facility.
In the event of a workplace accident, we take necessary first aid measures, provide appropriate assistance and care to injured employees, assess the incident, review its causes, and implement corrective measures to reduce the likelihood of future accidents.

employee health examinations
To implement effective employee health management, we periodically conduct employee health examinations, with both the frequency (annually) and examination items surpassing those required by law. For employees engaged in specific operations with occupational exposure risks, specialized examinations are arranged according to the nature of the work to ensure they receive appropriate health monitoring and protection.
Type of Operations Applicable Scope
Food handling operation inspections All employees of the food factory and pet food factory.
Noise operation inspection Employees at specific high noise exposure positions
n-Hexane operation inspection Personnel involved in the use of n-Hexane.
Dust operation inspection Employees engaged in operations with dust exposure risks.

In addition, contracted occupational physicians periodically visit the plant each month to provide three hours of on-site services, offering professional consultation and improvement suggestions on topics such as occupational exposure risks, health anomaly tracking, and job suitability assessments.
In April 2025, employees at the Lukang and Kaohsiung plants completed health check-ups, and in December, employees at the Shalu plant, Taichung Harbor Plant, and Taipei Business Center completed their health check-ups. For employees with significant abnormalities in their examination results, real-time follow-up examinations are arranged. If necessary, work arrangements are also evaluated for adjustments to ensure appropriate occupational protection.
Occupational Hazard Prevention & Health Management
In 2025, contracted occupational physicians provided differentiated health consultation services based on the types of health risks associated with employees. Individualized lifestyle adjustment recommendations and workplace health information were provided for 8 high-risk cardiovascular individuals and 3 requiring maternal health protection. Worksite visits were conducted with 10 employees identified as high-risk for musculoskeletal issues to promote correct working postures and stretching exercises, aiming to reduce the risk of occupational musculoskeletal injuries. In 2025, a total of 78 employees with health abnormalities were cared for, among which 18 employees saw a decrease of 1 to 3 levels in their health abnormality classification after continuous intervention. This demonstrates that the proactive follow-up mechanism has led to substantial health improvements, effectively assisting employees in recovering and maintaining their health status.
