Taiwan-Japan Pet Management Workshop

    With our mission and love for the fur kids, we have organized the
    "Taiwan-Japan Pet Management Workshop" for seven consecutive years
    since 2016. The theme for the seventh workshop was "Decoding Pet Behavior", as from previous events, we invited renowned speakers from Japan and Taiwan to share pet care knowledge and techniques. The event was held both in-person and live-streamed, a success with nearly a thousand participants from government officials to pet owners.
Xitou Wood-Made Bridge Donation

    In December 2024, we have signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) with Depart of Civil Engineering of National Taiwan University (NTU) and Experimental Forest Administration Office of NTU.
    Designed in collaboration teachers and students, and manufactured by Xitou Wood Processing Factory, the bridge is constructed from domestically sourced timber, and blend into the natural landscape.
    With the connection of the bridge, it improves the viewing facility around Elementary School Pool. Not only provide a safe and comfortable space, but obtain harmony atmosphere, contribute to social charity and environmental sustainability.
Fwusow Digital Research Center

    Over the years, the National Taipei University of Technology has had many talented graduates; thus, it attracted numerous corporate collaborations. Many renowned electronics companies lease office space in the newly established Research Headquarters for Advanced Technologies. We are the only one from the food industry to take part in this project, establishing the "Fwusow Digital Research Center". Through digital and internet technologies, we connect our production lines and processes to enable efficient resource management and create a smart and automated approach. With the strategic alliance, we proactively engage with the school to cultivate talented individuals, ensuring a seamless transition for graduates into employment.

Awards

    1st Low-Carbon Building Label
    We participated in the 1st Low Ministry of Interior’s Embodied-Carbon Building rating, the Degumming Oil Refinery of Taichung Harbor Plant was awarded 1+ Level certification.
    The embodied carbon content was 29.9% lower than that of standard construction methods. It has showed our effort to carbon reduction and environmentally friendly building practices.
    2024 Asia Pacific Enterprise Awards-Master Entrepreneur Award
    We are committed to delivering innovative and high-quality products and services. We have integrated AI-driven intelligence manufacturing and operations, incorporating ESG indicators to our performance evaluations.
    Through ethnic business practices, we enhance customer satisfaction and market competitiveness, driving the growth on our operation. With many outstanding performances, our Chairman awarded 2024 APEA Master Entrepreneur Award nominated by Enterprise Asia.
    Awarded 2024 GCSA Sustainability Report of English Version-Bronze
    We are committed to the transparent and comprehensive disclosure of our ESG performance. In 2024, we submitted our English Sustainability Report for the first time and were awarded bronze medal with the 2024 Global Corporate Sustainability Awards (GCSA).
    The awarded ceremony was held at Grand Hotel Taipei, and this recognition highlights our dedicated efforts and achievements across ESG.
    Participated in TCSA Sustainability Reports Many Years, Awarded Platinum Medal in 2024
    We are actively engaged in environmental sustainability, social welfare, energy-saving and low carbon initiatives. We have started publishing Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) report since 2015, demonstrating our firm commitment to sustainable development.
    These efforts have been repeatedly recognized by the Taiwan Corporate Sustainability Awards (TCSA) of sustainability reports, awarded numerous accolades including Emerging Enterprise Award, Bronze Award, Silver Award, and three Gold Awards in recent years. In 2024, we were awarded the highest honor-the Platinum Award from TCSA sustainability reports, marking a significant affirmation and encouragement for our efforts.
    2024 Business Weekly Top 100 Competitive Carbon Reduction Companies
    We are actively driving low-carbon transmission by strengthening energy management and carbon reduction strategies. In 2024,we were awarded the “Top 100 Business Weekly Carbon Competitiveness Companies”,  we were also ranked No.1 in food industry.
    The ceremony was held on Nov. 27, 2024 at Hua Nan International Conference Hall, Taipei. This award focused on cooperate strategy on carbon management, performance on carbon reduction and completeness of disclosures.
    Receiving this award highlights our forward-looking vision and concrete actions in sustainable development, carbon reduction, and environmental stewardship.
    2024 SGS ESG Awards
    We are actively committed to environmental protection and optimizing resource use to innovate rapidly.
    In 2024, we were honored with SGS Sustainability Environment Award. It is a highly approval for our performance of environmental innovation, precise energy management, resource recycling, and waste reduction.
    National Sustainable Development Awards
    Under our long-standing efforts to transform into a green business and promote circular economy, we were awarded the "National Sustainable Development Award" presented by the National Sustainable Development Commission of the Executive Yuan in 2022. We were the only company from the food manufacturing industry to receive the award, recognizing our efforts in sustainable business practices. We aim to continue providing safe and healthy food for all and establish a solid foundation for the next century to come.
