Trade Union Committee Operations
- The main purpose of a trade union is to safeguard and improve working conditions and economic well-being for workers, aiming to protect labor rights, enhance workplace safety, and improve overall quality of life. Trade unions also serve as a bridge for communication between labor and management. Our main responsibilities include executing various established work plans and coordinating with the Welfare Committee to provide assistance for employee illnesses, workplace accidents, employee dependents scholarships, holiday bonuses, and gifts. Additionally, we nominate outstanding workers for commendation by the company and participate in occupational unions.
- Our union consists of chairman, 8 directors and 3 supervisors, totaling 12 members with a 4-year term. In May 2024, we held a General Member Meeting and conduct regular quarterly meetings of the directors and supervisors.
- We have established a company trade union, but the collective agreement has not yet been signed, and we plan to sign it in 2025.
