On October 7, 2024, the "Net Zero Green Living for a Sustainable Future" initiative had been held in the Taichung City Government, in which Fusow Industry also participated. General Manager Zhao Wen Chiang attended to show support. The event featured a booth displaying carbon footprint label products of Fusow Industry and self-developed strains, along with explanations for the public about sustainable agricultural practices. The aim was to raise awareness of our actions in sustainability.
In implementing our circular economy, we promote and communicate internally while collaborating extensively with external stakeholders such as suppliers, customers, consumers, and government agencies. We have previously achieved SGS BS8001 certification for our circular economy practices, receiving the highest rating for "Optimized Business Model."
In our agricultural circular system, we utilize plant waste generated during processing, recycled mushroom bags, food by-products, and livestock manure. By adding our proprietary biotechnological strains, we produce organic compost for farmers, extending the lifespan of materials. We then purchase the grains grown by farmers to create related products. Through the cycles of edible oils, pet food, poultry and livestock meat, and organic fertilizers, we connect these elements into a comprehensive Agri-Food Circular Economy. Currently, 22 of our products have received carbon footprint labels.
