On November 29, 2024, the Ministry of the Interior held the first "Low-Carbon (Low Carbon Content) Building Label Certification Ceremony," where Fwusow Industry oil factory in Taichung Harbor plant was awarded the "1+ (Plus)" level of the Low-Carbon Label, the highest honor for this certification. It also became the first production facility to receive this certification.

The oil refining factory in Taichung Harbor plant achieved this recognition by using optimized materials and construction methods for its exterior walls, translucent window curtains, internal partitions, and flooring. The carbon content of the building is 29.85% lower than that of standard construction methods. In 2024, the factory successfully passed the Ministry of the Interior's Low-Carbon Building Label (LEBR), fully recognizing our commitment and investment in low-carbon buildings. Through building reuse and remodeling, we will continue to promote the low-carbon transformation of its facilities and take concrete actions to sustainability, striving towards its green and sustainable goals.
